I’m a Christian in the Church of Almighty God. I’ve followed Almighty God for more than ten years. In the years of my following God, what is the most unforgettable is the great tribulation of my being arrested by the vicious police of the CCP ten years ago. In that tribulation, I was greatly afflicted and trampled by the devils and my life was at stake and death was imminent many times, but Almighty God led and kept me with his mighty hand, so that I was brought back to life and got safely out of danger…. It made me truly taste the supernaturalness and greatness of God’s life power and gain the precious wealth of life God bestowed to me.

The Supernaturalness and Greatness of God’s Life Power

I was born in a poor peasant family. Because my family didn’t have power or influence, I was looked down upon and often bullied by others from my childhood. At such times, I felt especially aggrieved and distressed and expected from my heart that a savior could come to change my destiny. After marriage, my life was tough and my child often got ill, so a neighbor preached Jesus to me. Learning that the Lord Jesus could save those who suffered hardships and afflictions from the sea of misery, I was very excited in my heart, feeling that I finally found the savior. From then on, I believed in Jesus and was very zealous, often going to different places to attend meetings and listen to preachings. Later, however, I found that the church became more and more desolate and the phenomenon of jealousy and strife and scheming against one another became more and more serious, which was no better than the world. I was very disappointed and my faith grew cold gradually, and I didn’t attend meetings any more.

In 2000, a sister preached to me the gospel of Almighty God’s end-time work. When I knew that Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus, I was happy beyond expression. Every day when I had time, I would hold God’s word and read it thirstily. God’s earnest words warmed and comforted me, so that I felt the Creator’s care, love, and salvation for me and my thirsty heart received nourishment and supply. Henceforth, I lived in the Church of Almighty God, this big family, having meetings and performing duty with the brothers and sisters. We all did our utmost to pursue the truth and pursue to live out the likeness of a man under the watering and supply of Almighty God’s word. The brothers and sisters loved and helped one another and had no intrigue, deception, or discrimination against the poor and in favor of the rich, much less bullying and suppression. In the Church of Almighty God, I found the dignity and integrity of being a man and truly enjoyed the happiness and pleasure I had never had. However, because of believing in Almighty God, I was arrested and cruelly tortured by the CCP government and was imprisoned for one year. In the devil’s dark den, it was Almighty God’s word that gave me faith and strength and led me to overcome satan step by step and transcend the bondage of death….

God Is the Power of My Life

      How time flies! Fourteen years have flashed by since I followed Almighty God. In these years, although I have undergone various trials and hardships and frustrations, with the company of God’s word and God’s love and mercy, I’ve been especially enriched in my heart. During these fourteen years, what was most deeply engraved on my heart was my being arrested in August, 2003. After I was arrested that time, I was cruelly tortured by the CCP police and was almost disabled. It was Almighty God who cared for and kept me and led me with his word of life time after time, so that I overcame the cruel tortures of the devils and stood testimony. In the experience, I deeply felt that the power of Almighty God’s word is transcendent and Almighty God’s life force is great. I firmly believed that Almighty God is the only true God who rules over everything and controls all things and is even more my only salvation and reliance. No hostile force can take me away from God’s hand or hinder my footsteps of following God.

In each age, God does new work and is called by a new name; how could He do the same work in different ages? How could He cling to the old? The name of Jesus was taken for the work of redemption, so would He still be called by the same name when He returns in the last days? Would He still do the work of redemption? Why is it that Jehovah and Jesus are one, yet They are called by different names in different ages? Is it not because Their work in these ages is different? Could a single name represent God in His entirety? In this way, God must be called by a different name in a different age, must use the name to change the age and represent the age, for no one name can fully represent God Himself. And each name can only represent God’s disposition during a certain age and needs only to represent His work. Therefore, God can choose whatever name befits His disposition to represent the entire age.

More and more true believers in God were conquered by the word of Almighty God and were certain that Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus. They accepted God’s work of the last days in succession and thus Jiang Ming was glorified with God!

   When I was a child, my mother died. I shouldered the family burden at a young age. After getting married, I was even more loaded down with the burden of life. Having fully tasted the hardship and misery of life, I gradually became depressed and silent and fiddled my life away day by day. In 2002, when the brothers and sisters preached Almighty God’s end-time work to me, I accepted it readily and also brought my husband and children before Almighty God. From then on, the brothers and sisters often came to my home to have meetings. We fellowshipped about God’s word and sang hymns and danced to praise God together.
