Good intentions, advice of last days awaken man from deep sleep. Painful memories, smears remained torture my conscience. In confusion, I'm praying in fear. Hand on heart, repenting. You're so kind, but I tricked You with false love. My evil soul knew no regret. Living in sin, without fear. Caring not how You felt. Wanting only Your grace. In unease and self-pity, I'm sorry but I can't stop. Self-deception is hard to hide.
