Professor Raffaella Di Marzio: The Church of Almighty God—A Peaceful Home for the Soul

In recent years, as the authorities of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has escalated its persecution of religious freedom, some Christians from The Church of Almighty God (CAG) were forced to escape from China to seek asylum in democratic countries overseas. Why are churches able to degenerate into religion?

Relevant Words of God:
Why is it said that the practice of those in the religious churches is outdated? It is because what they put into practice is divorced from the work of today. In the Age of Grace, what they put into practice was right, but as the age has passed and God’s work has changed, their practice has gradually become outdated. It has been left behind by the new work and the new light.

The reports also described at length the development of the CAG in South Korea. They claimed that the CAG had been condemned as a “cult” in Korea, and that the Korean government should not grant refugee status to Christians of the CAG. Prof. Massimo Introvigne, an Italian sociologist, the founder and managing director of the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR), makes comment on this.
