Massimo Introvigne | Part 1 : How Chinese Regime Persecutes Christians—Lies and Violence

As is well known, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) seized power through lies and violence, and it relies on lies and violence to maintain its power. The CCP’s rule is nothing but lies, violence, and murder. The CCP propagates atheism, regarding religion as the spiritual opium of the people. Christians preach the gospel and witness for God to carry out God’s will, but the CCP condemns such righteous deeds as abandoning and breaking up their families, and arrests and imprisons Christians on various false charges.

Do Heeyoun: Guard Against CCP Blaming The Church of Almighty God for Invented Incidents of Extremism

The Chinese Communist government has long been known for its suppression and persecution of religious beliefs. Recently, the CCP has not hesitated in creating incidents abroad to frame and discredit The Church of Almighty God. Do Heeyoun, a human rights activist in South Korea, comments on this: "Malicious smearing is a common communist tactic. It's what the Chinese Communist Party relies on to survive. It's one of their ways of doing things." He also emphasizes that the CCP is very likely to fabricate more incidents with more extreme measures in order to suppress and persecute The Church of Almighty God, thereby sowing public distrust of the church and impeding the asylum applications of the church's Christians. This is a matter of urgency that needs to be dealt with.

The Seven Thunders Peal—Prophesying That the Kingdom Gospel Shall Spread Throughout the Universe

The Seven Thunders Peal—Prophesying That the Kingdom Gospel Shall Spread Throughout the Universe

Almighty God says, "Only when the light of the East gradually turns white will the darkness across the earth begin to turn to light, and only then will man discover that I have long ago gone from Israel and am rising anew in the East. Having once descended into Israel and later departed from it, I cannot again be born into Israel, because My work leads all of the universe and, what is more, the lightning flashes straight from East to West. For this reason I have descended in the East and brought Canaan to the people of the East.

Almighty God's Word "Christ Does the Work of Judgment With the Truth" | The Church of Almighty God

Almighty God's Word "Christ Does the Work of Judgment With the Truth" | The Church of Almighty God

Almighty God says, "What the work of judgment brings about is man’s understanding of the true face of God and the truth about his rebelliousness. The work of judgment allows man to gain much understanding of the will of God, of the purpose of God’s work, and of the mysteries that could not be understood by man. It also allows man to recognize and know his corrupt substance and the roots of his corruption, as well as to discover the ugliness of man. These effects are all brought about by the work of judgment, for the substance of such work is actually the work of opening up the truth, way, and life of God to all those who have faith in Him."

European Parliament Concern Over Asylum for Persecuted Christians From The Church of Almighty God

European Parliament Concern Over Asylum for Persecuted Christians From The Church of Almighty God

China’s deteriorating freedom of religious belief has long been a focus of the international community, which has repeatedly condemned the Chinese Communist government. The suppression and persecution of religious belief by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has continued to escalate since Xi Jinping took power. On June 27, a conference entitled Freedom of Religion or Belief and The Right to Asylum: The Case of China was held at the European Parliament in Brussels. During the conference, it was reported that freedom of religious belief in China has reached its worst level since the Cultural Revolution. At least 1.5 million people—including Xinjiang Muslims, Tibetan Buddhists, Catholics, Protestants, and Christians from The Church of Almighty God (CAG)—have been arrested and sent to prison or re-education camps for no reason other than their faith. The conference also pointed out that the CCP’s systematic persecution suffered by The Church of Almighty God Christians has been especially severe. These Christians have been arbitrarily detained, tortured, and imprisoned; some have even died or been left disabled as a result of their mistreatment. Participants in the conference called on the international community to urge the Chinese Communist government to respect freedom of religious belief, stop persecuting people of faith, and take note of the issue of asylum for Christians from The Church of Almighty God.

Rosita Šorytė: Asylum Should be Granted to Christian Refugees Based on Objective Information

Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) took power, it has never ceased in persecuting religious beliefs. The CCP has openly designated Christianity and Catholicism as cults, and the Bible as a cult book. Countless copies of it have been confiscated and burned. Since 1995, the CCP has included many house churches, including The Church of Almighty God (CAG), in cult lists and began its open repression and persecution. After Xi Jinping took office, the CCP has intensified its crackdown on Christianity, in particular The Church of Almighty God.
